What measures are being taken by the Ministry of Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Uzbekistan to create amenities for the population?
At an online briefing held today, Deputy Minister of Housing and Communal Services Nazirjon Nazirov provided detailed information about this.
“Under the quarantine, departments under the ministry, water and heat supply enterprises are operating stably. All measures have been taken to ensure uninterrupted supply of drinking water and heat. Water-supplying enterprises switched to enhanced working mode”, N. Nazirov says.
The issue of providing clean drinking water to settlements not connected to a centralized system is being resolved at the proper level.
The official website and social networks of the ministry published phone numbers of dispatching services and emergency teams for calls related to drinking water and the sewage system.
In connection with quarantine, together with relevant organizations, measures are being taken to disinfect multi-storey buildings and areas adjacent to them.
To support people these days, fines and penalties for late payment of services provided by water and heat supply organizations and wastewater treatment companies will not be charged. Claims against debtors will not be brought to court. Consumers will not be disconnected from the water supply and sewage systems.
