Ambassador of Uzbekistan Abat Fayzullayev held talks with a member of the Board of Executive Directors of the Austrian OeKB AG (Oesterreichische Kontrollbank AG) Helmut Bernkopf and Head of International Cooperation Division Ferdinand Schipfer.

The parties discussed issues of enhancing cooperation in the banking and financial sphere, as well as attracting concessional credit lines of the Austrian government to the economy of Uzbekistan.

Helmut Bernkopf noted the wide range of services provided by OeKB for financing export and investment projects of Austrian companies within the framework of their activities in Uzbekistan.

Following the meeting, the parties reached an agreement on sending the OeKB delegation to Uzbekistan within the framework of the Austrian Technologies Day, planned to be held in Tashkent as the pandemic situation stabilizes.
