FIDE has awarded the Uzbekistan Chess Federation the FIDE Outstanding Contribution Award 2025, FIDE Information Service reports.

The award is presented to federations that have made a significant contribution to the development of chess.

This is a high appreciation of activities carried out to popularize chess among young people, support young talents, and enhance Uzbekistan’s authority in the international arena.
