A Forum of Friendship and Cooperation has been held between the cities of Jizzakh (Uzbekistan) and Qingdao (China).

The forum dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Uzbekistan and China was held on the initiative of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Beijing, the Trade Representative Office of China in Tashkent, the Hokimiyat of the city of Jizzakh and the administration of Qingdao, the Jizzakh FEZ and Uzbekistan-Italy JV BMB-Opera Zafferano.

A Memorandum was signed online between the FEZ Jizzakh and China-SCO Pilot Zone of Trade and Economic Cooperation on the construction of an International Import and Export Center in Jizzakh, as well as a Cooperation Agreement in the field of investment and procurement between the companies Qingdao Asia-Europe Trade Services and BMB Logistic, which is a subsidiary of BMB Trade Group.

Presentations of the Jizzakh Free Economic Zone and the China-SCO Pilot Zone of Trade and Economic Cooperation were held. The parties exchanged views and experience between Uzbekistan and Chinese entrepreneurs.
