In children’s camp Oftobjon in Bostonliq District of Tashkent Region, northern Uzbekistan, a spiritual enlightenment event on the topic of “Future belongs to us” has taken place, devoted to the 25th anniversary of Uzbekistan’s independence.

The event arranged by the political council of the Adolat Social Democratic Party of Uzbekistan was attended by deputies of the Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis (parliament) of the Republic of Uzbekistan, regional councils of people’s deputies, and active members of the party, veterans and young people.

It was said that large-scale reforms being implemented in the years of independence under the leadership of the country’s President and constant attention being paid to ensuring steady economic development and the nation’s prosperity were giving their weighty results.

The younger generations, who the country can rely on, are being educated independently to become people with a new way of thinking and possessing modern knowledge and professions. They think of themselves as the country’s future decisive workforce being able to take on responsibility for the destiny and future of their homeland.

The presidential resolution dated 6 February 2014 “On additional measures directed towards implementing the state youth policy of the Republic of Uzbekistan” is an important guidance document for action in this area.

“The camp has qualified teachers, here medical services are provided in accordance with modern requirements, and effective educational work has been initiated,” says a deputy of the Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, L.Koshelapova.

Children who actively participated in the event have been given memorable gifts.
