Tashkent City Hokimiyat hosted the “Tashkent – the City of Bread” festival in the tourist mahalla “Gulbozor” in Shaykhantakhur district.

The event, organized to glorify national and traditional values, strengthen solidarity, interethnic harmony, and stability, and further enhance the noble qualities inherent in our people, was attended by more than 200 foreign and over a thousand local guests.

Bakers working on the tourist street prepared about 50 types of bread and bread products. Festival guests could observe the baking process and even learn some of the secrets of craftsmanship.

Amid the sounds of music, those who came tasted various bakery products from the Republic of Karakalpakstan and 12 regions of the country.

Speakers at the event noted that the festival, organized for the first time, fully reflected the country’s people’s high values.
