Traditional Festival of Fine and Applied Arts has started in Karakalapakstan.

Paintings of a member of the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan S.Baybosinov and other famous artists, artisans’ and sculptors’ works are presented at the exhibition. Within the framework of the event, a collection of national clothes created by designer A.Nurimbetova was presented to art lovers.

Within the framework of the festival, an exhibition of paintings by U.Saparova, national clothes from designers D.Adilshayeva and G.Saparbayeva, master-classes with participation of honored mentor of youth of Uzbekistan, a famous artist J.Lepesov will be held. Exhibitions of famous artists V.Yenin, A.Tyurin and A.Babayev will be opened at Karakalpak State Art Museum named after I.Savitsky. An exhibition of paintings by students of children’s music and art school No.22, meetings with academician S.Baybosinov and honored mentor of youth of Karakapakstan A.Rajapov will be organized. Master-classes with participation of famous artists, exhibition of works by students of specialized art schools of Karakalpakstan of the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan, as well as Nukus College of Culture and Arts will be held at the Exhibition Palace of Nukus. A fashion show of national clothes from young designer S.Daukarayeva will also be presented.
