Festival of fine and applied arts has begun at the Central Exhibition Hall of the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan.Senators, deputies, representatives of various ministries and departments, creative organizations, professors and teachers of higher education institutions in the direction of art, students, art lovers were invited to the opening ceremony of this festival of elegance and beauty, dedicated to the Year of supporting active entrepreneurship, innovative ideas and technologies.
Chairman of the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan A.Nuriddinov and others noted that peace and tranquility prevailing in Uzbekistan, atmosphere of harmony and mercy are an important factor in consistent development of culture and art, identifying young talents, creating all necessary opportunities and conditions for creative people.
The Festival of fine and applied arts managed to earn attention by the fact that it is aimed at educating younger generation with high spirituality, supporting young people’s aspirations and initiatives, encourages them to even higher goals.
The ranks of foreign artists, art critics, designers and photographers wishing to participate in the project is increasing from year to year. This year’s festival is attended by artists from Latvia, Iran, Georgia, Indonesia, India, Russia, Japan, Romania, Slovakia, Italy.
– This festival is a clear confirmation of great attention being paid in Uzbekistan to fine and applied arts, – says designer from Japan Yuki Koakudzu. – Such events are important for exchanging experience and opinions, analysis and studying young artists’ works. The festival is another practical reflection of care and attention paid in Uzbekistan to young artists.

Various exhibitions, master classes and presentations were held on the first day of the festival.
