Abdurakhmon Niyazov from Fergana is a surgeon by profession but has been engaged in business for 20 years.
The last project of the entrepreneur is the production of paper from stone. The project is unique not only for Uzbekistan but also for the entire Central Asian region. In general, Uzbekistan will become the fifth largest producer of stone paper in the world after China, Taiwan, Iran, and Japan. LLC Fargonatoshqogoz, established with the support of Chinese partners, will be launched in January this year.

“We presented this project during the visit of our President to Fergana region on May 5-6, 2019”, said Abdurakhmon Niyazov. – The production capacity of the enterprise is 9 thousand tons of paper per year, and the cost of the product is $9 million. The Head of the state instructed to implement such a project not only in Fergana but in all regions of the country.
Uzbekistan imports paper worth 550 million dollars, and if the project is implemented in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, regions, and the capital, the volume of imports will significantly decrease. Four specialists from China’s GX-Tech are training the company’s staff in assembly, the use of modern technology, and other important aspects of work.
