On April 25-28, Fergana will host the meeting of the Council of National Coordinators of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.

The decision on Uzbekistan's chairmanship in the SCO in 2021-2022 was made at the Summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in Dushanbe.  President Shavkat Mirziyoyev outlined the priorities that will be implemented within the framework of Uzbekistan’s chairmanship in the SCO. To implement these tasks, during the period of Uzbekistan's chairmanship in the SCO, it is planned to hold over 80 events with partners.

According to Fergana region’s Hokimiyat, the participants will visit Kokand, Margilan, Rishtan and Uchkuprik districts, and become familiar with the production of national handicrafts, the sights of the region.
