At the group stage, Fergana football players defeated “Jalolobod” (11:0), “Academy” (2:1) and “Kizil Mekhnat” (17:0).

The club won “Neftchi Kochkorot” (2:1) in the semi-final and again defeated the “Academy” (5:0) in the final. Elyor Akbarov, from “Istiklol”, was recognized as the scorer, and Rizo Ayvazov as the best player of the tournament.

“Istiklol” club was founded in 2016. The coach is Sergey Lebedev, winner of the 1994 Asian Games.
