A delegation from Fergana, led by the region’s Hokim Khayrullo Bozorov met with the Governor of the Istanbul Ali Yerlikaya during a working visit to Turkey.

The state of cooperation in the investment, trade-economic, cultural, tourism and other sectors between Fergana region and Turkey, in particular, Istanbul, was analyzed, and prospects for its development were considered at the meeting.

It was emphasized that the friendly relations that have developed between the leaders of the two countries, their political will, have become a factor in raising relations between the countries to a new level in all spheres, and served to accelerate cooperation.

It was noted that there are still untapped great opportunities for further expansion of cooperation between Fergana region and Istanbul. Concrete plans have been outlined to achieve practical results in this direction.
