Fergana region and Osaka prefecture establish cooperation
The delegation of Fergana region visited Japan’s Osaka prefecture and met with Vice Governor Nobuhiko Yamaguchi.
The parties discussed the possibilities of establishing multilateral interregional cooperation between Fergana and Osaka, exchanged views on establishing mutually beneficial ties in the education system, as well as trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres.

Agreements were also reached with the leadership of Osaka Prefectural Board of Education on cooperation in introducing the best practices of the Japanese education system in the region’s schools. The proposal of the administration of Fergana region to attract a Japanese specialist with extensive experience as an educational consultant was willingly supported by the leadership of Osaka.
