In Fergana region, the voting process has also started actively at all 1209 polling stations for the referendum. All polling stations opened at 8:00 to the sound of the National Anthem and the voting process started.

Large-scale preparations for this important political process were also carried out at the polling station No.1113 for the referendum, located in “Yangi Asr” mahalla in Fergana district. As it was noted, 1,701 citizens are registered on the voting list. Of these, 7 young people will use their constitutional right to vote for the first time.

Mahalla residents participating in the referendum are satisfied with the ongoing reforms.

“I am glad to be involved in the fate of the country”, said Zafarjon Qodirov. – Therefore, I was among the first to use the constitutional right. I think all compatriots will take an active part in this political process.

More than 2 million citizens are included in the voting lists in all the referendum sites. 82 thousand of them are voting for the first time. The voting process is observed by foreign observers who have arrived in the region.
