Fergana region’s Uchkuprik district hosts the First Lavender Festival.

Exhibitions of products from lavender, eco-trips to healing gardens, as well as concerts and shows are organized.

New projects are being implemented at Mehrigiyo small enterprise in Uchkuprik district. The enterprise specializing in the procurement of medicinal plants produces more than a hundred medicinal products. In 2018, the district was included in the list of tourist sites in Uzbekistan. 25 hectares are used for the cultivation of lavender, goji, papaya, coffee, kiwi, bananas, as well as medicinal plants.

During the festival, you can taste ice cream and soft drinks from lavender, take part in photoshoots.

Guests from Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Malaysia are attending the festival.
