Samarkand hosted a training workshop on “Improving the knowledge and skills of female farmers in the exchange of experience in the regional network of extension centers of universities in Central Asia and the practice of agriculture”.

The event organized jointly with the Council of Farmers, Dehkan Farms and Owners of Household Lands of Uzbekistan, Central Asia and the Caucasus Association of Agricultural Research Institutions (CACAARI), Information and Consulting Center, was attended by female farmers and owners of household lands.

The project is aimed at improving the skills and knowledge of female farmers in improving farming, applying them in the practice of agribusiness.

Masterclasses were held on the adaptation of productive livestock breeds imported from foreign countries to the climatic conditions of the country, protection from various diseases, innovative technologies for growing legumes, modern methods of vegetative grafting of fruit trees and vegetables.

Following the event, partner organizations awarded certificates to female farmers.
