The Surkhan State Reserve, located on the eastern slopes of Kuhitang mountain of Sherabad district and administered by the State Committee for Ecology and Environmental Protection, on these hot days fascinates with colorful flora and fauna, refreshes with cool, clean air and icy water of blue lakes.

More than 12 thousand 239 hectares of the reserve with an area of 23 thousand 802 hectares are covered with green spaces. At an altitude of 850 to 3137 meters above sea level, you can find more than 900 plant species.
