A press conference was held at the Press Center of the Central Election Commission with the participation of the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Farkhod Arziyev.

He informed about the results of early voting abroad and the elections held in foreign polling stations.

54 polling stations have been organized at the embassies and consulates of Uzbekistan in 37 countries, 380 additional mobile polling stations in 149 cities, including in 11 countries where there are no diplomatic missions, as well as in Austria, Afghanistan, the United States, UAE, Belarus, Belgium, the United Kingdom, Germany, Indonesia, Israel, Spain, Italy, South Korea, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Latvia, Malaysia, Egypt, Azerbaijan, Pakistan, Poland, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Thailand, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Turkey, Ukraine, Oman, France, China, India, Switzerland, Iran and Japan.

According to article 57 of the Election Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan, a voter who is unable to be at the place of residence on the voting day has the right to vote early. 120,524 people voted from 14 to 20 October.

Citizens residing abroad are included in the voter list at a polling station (diplomatic or other representation) abroad based on an application. Applications were accepted in writing or electronically 15 days before the elections. A hotline of the Central Election Commission worked to answer the questions of our compatriots about the elections abroad.
