According to the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan, winner of the II Summer Youth Olympic Games, held in 2014 in Nanjing, China, Farhod Sobirov in the weight category up to 94 kg fixed the result of 373 kg and won first place.

Our talented weightlifter in the clean and jerk recorded 170 kg, in the snatch - 203 kg and won two silver medals.

Earlier it was reported that in the World Weightlifting Championship in Georgia, Shahzod Hudoyberganov in weight category up to 77 kg won the silver medal, and in the female competition Muattar Nabieva won three bronze medals.

Thus, our young athletes at the World Championship won one gold, three silver and bronze medals.
