At the event, it was noted that much attention is being paid in our country to development of sports, particularly to football, ensuring all-round development of younger generation, creation of conditions for young people’s regular sports training. In recent years, solid foundation and integrated system for development of football were created in the country. Modern football infrastructure is being formed in all regions. Special emphasis is being attached to young players’ training, conducting contests and tournaments among them. This plays an important role in identifying talented athletes and their involvement in national teams.

At the conference, Uzbekistan Football Federation has been converted into Uzbekistan Football Association.

First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Chairman of the Management Board of “Uzbekistan Railway” joint stock company A.Ramatov was elected the Chairman of Uzbekistan Football Association. U.Akhmadjonov was approved as the First Deputy Chairman of the Association, and Sh.Toshmatov - as the Deputy Chairman of the Association.
