Karakul district of Bukhara region is reaching new heights in the industrial sector. A vivid example of this is the textile factory Qorako'l Kumush Kalava LLC, located in the Khujalar MCA.

This enterprise specializes in processing yarn and threads into semi-finished and finished fabrics, a significant portion of which is exported to foreign countries, including Russia, China, Türkiye, and Belarus. Built on an area of 3.5 hectares, the factory has quickly employed more than 400 people. Optimal working conditions have been created for them, contributing to high efficiency.

“Recently, we brought in a modern weaving machine from China. This technology will not only enhance product quality and increase production volumes, but also create new job opportunities. This will expand the export potential of our enterprise. Our goal is to supply fabrics produced in Karakul district to the global market”, said the head of the enterprise, Asror Mansurov.

Indeed, the annual production volume of the enterprise is quite significant today. It produces 10 million linear meters of high-quality fabric and 3,000 tons of yarn per year. Most of the products are exported, with a total turnover exceeding $7 million.
