On May 25, within the framework of the first national exhibition "Internet, Communications, Information – InterCOM-2018”, a workshop on "Electronic government as an innovative method of public administration" will be held in Tashkent.

The event is organized by the Committee on the Issues of Innovative Development, Information Policy and Information Technologies of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Ministry on Development of Information Technologies and Communications and Innovative Development of Uzbekistan.

The workshop will be attended by deputies of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, representatives of the Cabinet of Ministers of the country, domestic ministries and departments, civil society institutions, IT specialists and journalists.

The purpose of the seminar – development of proposals and recommendations on improvement of the efficiency of automation of management processes, formation of effective information exchange systems in public administration.

During the seminar, reports will be presented on the legislative foundations of "e-government" in Uzbekistan, e-government, as an innovative method of public administration, as well as relevant projects being implemented in the country in development of e-government.

The first national exhibition "Internet, Communications, Information – InterCOM-2018" will be held from 23 to 25 May in Tashkent exhibition and trade center "Kurgazma Savdo Markazi". For the convenience of visitors, it will be divided into thematic sections.
