17:36 / 2024-07-08

Tashkent will host an international conference on “Uzbekistan – Kyrgyzstan: Synergy of Strategic Partnership” tomorrow.

The event organizers are the International Institute for Central Asia and the National Institute of Strategic Initiatives under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic. The main participants are leading analytical centers and research institutes of the two countries, representatives of the ministries and agencies of the parties, and the diplomatic corps of Kyrgyzstan in Tashkent.

The conference aims to develop and consolidate Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan’s common approaches on the most important issues of further development of cooperation at the bilateral, regional, and international levels. It will analyze specific areas of joint interaction, including trade, economics, transport, energy, ecology, water use, and regional security.

Issues related to the specific and practical content of the historic Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Declaration, signed during the last meeting of the Presidents of the two countries, are planned to receive the most attention.
