A meeting was held in Tashkent between the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of Uzbekistan, Kongratbay Sharipov, and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to Uzbekistan, Duyshonkul Chotonov.

The discussion centered on current issues related to the development of bilateral cooperation in higher education, science, and innovation. Both sides emphasized the importance of elevating educational relations to a new level.

Agreements were reached on establishing a research center dedicated to the development of pilgrimage tourism. Plans were also made to discuss a joint project on sustainable energy involving the Fergana State Technical University and Kyrgyz higher education institutions, particularly the construction of a micro-hydropower plant.
