The Committee for Roads hosted a meeting with the heads of SAMAN and KECC companies of the Republic of Korea and scientists from the Korea Transport Institute.
The parties discussed a long-term master plan, management instructions, quality control standards for road operation and maintenance, and a road construction program based on public-private partnerships.

As noted, constructing roads based on public-private partnership is very important for the country’s economic growth, the sector’s development, and the creation of amenities for the population.

In Uzbekistan, as part of a grant project worth $1 million, existing roads will be studied, and instructions for their repair and preservation will be developed. Monitoring of roads built based on public-private partnership will be carried out. The participants exchanged views on creating a mechanism for implementing the project.
