On the eve of the state visit of the President of Uzbekistan to Pakistan, an exhibition of national clothes, fabrics and handicrafts of Uzbekistan has been organized in Islamabad.

The exhibition is organized by Uztuqimachiliksanoat, Hunarmand and Uzbekipaksanoat associations, as well as the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting of Pakistan.

The Minister of Information and Broadcasting of Pakistan, Fawad Chaudhry, attended the event. He expressed his sincere gratitude to the leadership of Uzbekistan for the initiative to hold such a mega-cultural event in Islamabad.

The exhibition covers three major areas of cooperation – cultural exchange, tourism development and demonstrates the great untapped potential of mutually beneficial cooperation for businesspeople.

The participants were shown a rich palette of Uzbek national clothes and fabrics, national handicrafts.
