An exhibition of pictures entitled “My army – my pride” has been opened in the exposition hall of the Qoraqalpoghiston department of the Art Academy of Uzbekistan.

An exhibition of pictures entitled “My army – my pride” has been opened in the exposition hall of the Qoraqalpoghiston department of the Art Academy of Uzbekistan.

Drawings, landscape paintings and portraits are on display here. These are works by students of a special school of art under the Art Academy of Uzbekistan and children’s school of music and art No 1 of the town of Nukus.

Those students, who are thoroughly studying the secrets of visual arts, depicted in their works the unique nature of the Motherland, its rich history, army life and powerful military hardware.

The exhibition helps to further strengthen feelings of patriotism in young people. Art lovers and specialists of visual arts were especially interested in such pictures as “Military oath” by J.Aydarbayev, “Soldier” by S.Muratbayev, “At the shooting range” by M.Qaypanov, “Pilot” by A.Turdibayev, “Military training” by H.Bakhiyev, “Soldier’s memoirs” by A.Tangribergenov, “Border troops” by R.Kaukeshov and “Motherland defenders” by G.Genjemuratova.
