The Chambers of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, together with the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Uzarchive Agency and the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan, organized an exhibition of archival documents dedicated to the history of the creation of the Constitution.

The exhibition presents more than 90 archival and photographic documents stored in the archives of the chambers of the Oliy Majlis, the National Archives Fund of Uzbekistan in the Uzarchive system, and the National Archive of Film, Photo and Audio Documents of Uzbekistan.

The main expositions were devoted to the ideas of the President, discussions with the participation of the President, meetings of members of the working group, decisions of the Legislative Chamber on holding a referendum, minutes of meetings of the Constitutional Court to determine compliance with the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the results of the referendum held on April 30, 2023.

In accordance with the order of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On the preparation and holding of the Constitution Day of the Republic of Uzbekistan” of November 16 this year, preparatory work is being carried out for the widespread celebration of the 31st anniversary of the Constitution. Various exhibitions are held, and the population is informed about the history of the Constitution.

The exhibition will run until December 7.
