Excursion to the Victory Museum
13:23 / 2025-09-18

Participants of the international media tour “Roads of Victory” for journalists from CIS news agencies, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory in World War II, visited the Victory Museum in Moscow.

The visit began with a flower-laying ceremony at the monument inside the museum dedicated to the war participants.

The group was also presented with the new exhibition “The Road to Victory”, which was opened this year to mark the 80th anniversary of Victory.

The exhibition, consisting of six sections, opens with a multimedia video dedicated to the heroic Battle of Moscow. It also presents information on the Battle of Stalingrad, the Siege of Leningrad, the Battle of Kursk, and the Battle of the Dnieper. These materials are displayed using film footage, historical artifacts, and multimedia exhibits. The exhibition concludes with the section “The Storming of Berlin”.

A unique part of the new exposition is the interactive complex “Monuments of Victory”, created with the support of the Cultural Initiatives Fund. More than 160 exhibits in this section are dedicated to the heroes of the war and their personal stories. In addition, for the first time, the museum features the exhibition “The Face of Victory”, which contains information about participants in World War II and is open to contributions from citizens through a specially designed electronic platform.
