The event was attended by 27 representatives of various ministries, agencies, non-governmental non-profit organizations for pasture management.
The event is aimed at exchanging experience and defining strategic cooperation tasks for the coming years on various systems of pasture land ownership.
Head of the legal department of the Council of Farmers, Dehkan Farms and Owners of Household Lands of Uzbekistan Sokhibjon Khatamov informed participants about goals and objectives of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On pastures”, adopted on May 23, 2019.
Head of the analytical department of the Council of Farmers, Dehkan Farms and Owners of Household Lands of Uzbekistan, candidate of agricultural sciences H. Giyasov presented a report on aridity of Uzbekistan’s climate, total area of land, in particular pasture of their degradation pastures.
H. Giyasov expressed his proposals on protection, restoration, inventory of pastures, regular study of geobotanical analysis of plant cover of pastures.
Participants exchanged views on protection and restoration of pastures and made a decision on developing and strengthening joint work within the framework of various projects.
