The employment of people with disabilities was discussed at the event organized by the Ministry of Digital Technologies and the National Agency for Social Protection within the framework of the ICT WEEK UZBEKISTAN 2024.

In this context, the Ministry of Digital Technologies has been allocated a quota of more than 190 vacancies. To date, the Ministry and its system organizations have employed about 90 citizens with disabilities. The recruitment process is actively ongoing.

Within the framework of the program, the participants became familiar with initiatives and strategies aimed at improving jobs for people with disabilities.

Following the event, issues of expanding cooperation and approving an action plan were discussed, to be implemented in the future based on the received proposals.
