“Apart from trade fairs in the centres of the region’s eight districts and four towns, we have also arranged trade fairs in two marketplaces of the capital city. Various fruits and vegetables, meat, eggs and fish produced in Sirdaryo region and also confectionery products are being supplied at lower prices to the Askiya and Tansiqboyev marketplaces in Tashkent,” says the chief of the commercial services provision and consumer goods production department of the Sirdaryo regional hokimiyat (governorate), Hamid Qahhorov. 

In these trade fairs, the commercial services provision and consumer goods production department of the Sirdaryo regional hokimiyat, the Guliston bunyod servis LLC, trading points in their system, processing enterprises in the region and farms specializing in poultry and stock raising and fish farming are participating with their products.

It was specified that from 10 December 2017 to 10 January 2018, 38 types of agricultural products and foodstuffs should be sold at New Year trade fairs in all areas of Uzbekistan.
