A round-table conversation has been held in Bukhara on the subject of “Women’s participation in voting”. Elderly mothers, scholars, women, students, young people and housewives were invited to the round-table conversation.

The event was arranged by the Bukhara Regional women’s committee. It was said at the event that large-scale work was being carried out on ensuring voting rights and liberties in the country and that in this process special attention was being paid to raising women’s and girls’ activeness and supporting their rights and interests.

During the event, speeches were heard on such themes as “I will vote personally in the elections”, “In our family, every one has their own vote” and “Every citizen will cast their vote personally”.
