Members of the delegation met with the khokim of Fergana region Sh.Ganiyev and discussed issues of establishing mutual cooperation in the spheres of investment, education, medicine, and tourism.

Within the framework of the visit, an opening ceremony of Uzbekistan – South Korea training center was held in the city of Fergana. The center is engaged in in-depth study of the Korean language and culture. This is another opportunity for those wishing to work in South Korea.

In the regional multidisciplinary medical center, physicians from South Korea conducted a medical examination of the population, demonstrated methods of surgical treatment and other medical procedures.

An exhibition of agricultural machinery and other products of South Korean production was organized at Fergana Entrepreneurs Center. Entrepreneurs of South Korea visited Kokand free economic zone and became familiar with conditions created for investors.
