The second part of the “Week of Dialogue with Entrepreneurs” continued in the format of panel sessions. At the meeting devoted to the development of agriculture, special attention was paid to the digitalization of the sphere, the introduction of market principles in relations between agricultural entities, as well as the expansion of the use of modern resource-saving and intensive agricultural technologies in the sphere.
Presentations of specialists were devoted to agricultural clusters, issues of strengthening relations between farms, organization of export of processed fruit and vegetable products to foreign markets, cultivation of cereals and legumes on a scientific basis.
Views were exchanged on the intensification of the increase in greenhouse farms, further development of horticulture, veterinary medicine and all areas of animal husbandry, including sheep breeding, rabbit breeding, poultry farming, fish farming, beekeeping, increasing the number of cattle.
The need to create acceptable conditions for payers to fulfill their duties, improving the customs activities of foreign trade operations was discussed at the meeting of the section “Tax system, customs, tariff and non-tariff regulation of trade, issues of integration of the country into international structures”.
The participants noted the need for implementing the principle “The Tax Service is a reliable partner of an honest taxpayer”.
Issues of streamlining tariff and non-tariff policy, the country's integration into international structures, in particular, the procedure for applying WTO, European Economic Community and GSP+ system benefits in Uzbekistan were discussed.
Reports were heard on the formation of a healthy competitive environment by preventing monopolies in public procurement and exchange issues, the process of digitalization in entrepreneurship.
