Gijduvan district of Bukhara region has been famous since ancient times as a center of culture, art, science, education and handicrafts.

Starting from October, on the first Saturday of every month, the Gijduvan Evening Festival will be held in the center of the district.

The festival will be attended by talented people at the age of 7 to 70 in such areas as art, literature, sports, technical creativity. Concerts, art performances, exhibitions, fairs of artisans from Gijduvan, fairs of products of young farmers and entrepreneurs will be organized. The District Employment Promotion Center will offer vacancies.

Authors of the best works will be awarded memorable gifts by the district hokim.
