Council of Farmers, Dehkan Farms and Owners of Household Lands of Uzbekistan hosted a meeting with representatives of the EU’s ASK project.

Information was presented on the effective use of household plots by the population, protection of the rights and interests of farms, training managers and employees of farms, providing them with practical assistance in the implementation of innovative projects. 

This technical assistance project is funded by the European Union. According to the strategy for the development of the agricultural sector and the roadmap, technical assistance and related services will be provided to reform agriculture in 2020-2030. The European Union will allocate 40 million euros to support and provide additional assistance to agriculture in Uzbekistan.

The participants of the meeting agreed on cooperation, provision of scientific and practical services to farmers, farms and owners of household lands operating in the regions.
