Scientists from Austria, Hungary, Germany and Italy, operating in the agricultural sector, have arrived in Uzbekistan at the invitation of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The visit is organized to exchange experience and implement the tasks outlined in the resolution of the Head of the state “On additional measures to introduce the cluster system in the development of viticulture, state support for attracting advanced technologies in this sphere”.

The delegation visited Samarkand branch of Tashkent State Agrarian University. The scientists introduced the students to the Hungarian technology of vine growing, vineyard design and monitoring of crops.

European scientists got acquainted with the activities of vineyards in Samarkand region and exchanged views with experts in this sphere.
