A parliamentary delegation of the European Parliament led by Fulvio Martusciello, Chair of the European Parliament Delegation for Central Asia and Mongolia, arrived in Uzbekistan.

During the four-day visit, meetings will be held in the government bodies of Uzbekistan. The parties will discuss the current state and prospects for cooperation between Uzbekistan and the European Union, in particular, issues of strengthening inter-parliamentary ties.

The delegation will also visit the University of World Economy and Diplomacy and the Development Strategy Center.

The European Parliament’s delegation will also visit the Republic of Karakalpakstan and hold talks in Jokargy Kenes.
