Euronews, in a new episode of the program “Silk Road Adventures”, presented Uzbekistan as a dynamically developing winter tourism destination. The focus was on the combination of rich historical and cultural heritage with modern opportunities for active recreation.
The report emphasizes that the country, traditionally associated with ancient cities and the Great Silk Road, is now actively shaping its image as a year-round tourism hub in Central Asia. Viewers were shown next-generation infrastructure, natural landscapes, and a wide range of winter activities.
Particular attention was given to the Amirsoy Mountain Resort, where tourists explore the snow-covered slopes of the Chimgan Mountains, and to the Deer Hills natural complex, which offers eco-routes and outdoor recreation. The report also featured winter scenes of Tashkent with its modern urban infrastructure, including the Humo Arena, which has become a popular venue for active leisure.
