Deputy Minister of Transport of Uzbekistan Jasurbek Choriyev, during a trip to the United States, met with the Director of Marketing and Air Service Development at Miami International Airport, Emir Pineda, the Ministry of Transport of Uzbekistan reports.

The parties discussed issues related to the development of cooperation in civil aviation. In particular, the prospects for establishing regular flights between the airports of Tashkent and Miami were considered.

Miami International Airport welcomed more than 50 million passengers in 2022 and became one of the first in the country to achieve growth after the COVID-19 pandemic. It also took first place in cargo transportation.
