Essential meetings for the development of the pharmaceutical industry

Director of the Pharmaceutical Industry Development Agency Abdulla Azizov met with representatives of MG PRIME GROUP. The issues of launching a new project on the territory of the Tashkent Pharma Park cluster were discussed.

Representatives of MG PRIME GROUP presented a new project, declaring their plans to organize distribution activities of large foreign pharmaceutical enterprises in Uzbekistan.

Mr. Azizov also met with representatives of the international organizations PQM+ and PIC/S to discuss the prospects for implementing the Pharmaceutical Inspection Co-operation Scheme (PIC/S) in Uzbekistan. The goal is to ensure the quality, safety, and efficiency of pharmaceutical production in the country.

At the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for cooperation, possibilities for optimizing control processes and inspection descriptions and ensuring the development of ongoing reforms. This program aims to raise the quality control of pharmaceutical products to a higher level.

Another meeting took place with representatives of the Indian investment and financial holding company Religare Enterprises Limited (REL).

Representatives of the company announced plans to invest in Uzbekistan’s pharmaceutical industry, expand partnerships, and engage in mutually beneficial cooperation.

Prospects for cooperation and opportunities for doing business in Uzbekistan were discussed.

At a meeting with representatives of LEKINTERKAPS, issues related to launching a new project by the enterprise on the territory of the Tashkent Pharma Park cluster were discussed.

Representatives of the LEKINTERKAPS, speaking in detail about the new project, also announced their plans to establish import-substituting, infusion, tablet- and syrup-like drug production in Uzbekistan. As noted, the project plans to create 190 new jobs.
