The Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan hosted a roundtable discussion dedicated to the promotion of the New Uzbekistan Development Strategy at the international level.

Our compatriots living in the United States, Canada, Australia, South Korea, Germany and other countries, scholarship holders of the El-Yurt Umidi Foundation, who study at leading foreign universities, took part in the event via videoconference.

Rector of the Academy of Public Administration Adkham Bekmurodov spoke about the seven priority areas of the strategy, focusing on the approach to universal problems based on national interests.

Odil Sattorov, Chairman of the Vatandoshlar Public Foundation, Khushnudbek Khudoyberdiyev, a lawyer, blogger, and Nurmuhammad Yunusov, a foreign expert, also voiced their suggestions and opinions on the theme.

It was noted that the President of Uzbekistan is carrying out reforms to turn the principles of justice and the rule of law into the main condition for the development of the country.

Strengthening the security and defense capability of the country, conducting an open, pragmatic and active foreign policy are identified as one of the priority tasks. These also include the introduction of an active mahalla model and an increase in the efficiency of the state support system for the population.

At the event, the essence and significance of the initiatives to create a new system for planning the strategic directions of the activities of public administration bodies were considered in detail.
