Tashkent hosted a briefing for media representatives and bloggers, organized by the UAE Embassy in Uzbekistan in partnership with the Mass Media Foundation and the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The event was dedicated to the upcoming 28th annual conference of the parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change.

The conference will be held in the UAE from November 30 to December 12, 2023. It will aim to achieve results in curbing global warming, increasing funding for climate change programs in developing countries, and investing in climate adaptation.

At the last briefing, Uzbekistan’s achievements in ecology, the country’s experience in green development, and the main points regarding the country’s upcoming participation in COP 28 were presented.
