In the years of independence, our country’s economy rose nearly by a factor of 6, and industry’s share in its structure increased from 14 per cent to 34 per cent. Despite the ongoing global financial-economic crisis, among just a few states of the world is Uzbekistan with GDP growth rates exceeding 8 per cent a year over the past 11 years.

Wide possibilities given under the leadership of First President Islam Karimov to the sector of small business and private entrepreneurship created a solid foundation for this economic growth. Thanks to privileges and preferences provided for entrepreneurs, the share of the small business and private entrepreneurship sector in the formation of GDP is increasing with every passing year.

Our entrepreneurs, inspired by the created possibilities, are becoming a reliable support base of society indeed for the development of the country today and in future and for its wellbeing and prosperity.

Entrepreneurs are taking an active part in the process of voting. This can be seen at polling station No 195 in Tashkent.

“The strengthening of the legislative basis for all spheres, based on the Constitution, serves for the development of the country. This is also helped by the further strengthening of the mechanism for the prioritization of the rights and legitimate interests of entrepreneurship entities. This creates new possibilities for entrepreneurs in their free and fruitful work. The guarantee of citizens’ voting rights is evident in their free participation in the electoral process, that is in free voting. Our workers have also taken an active part in voting in the elections,” says Hojiakbar Ismoilov, manager for external affairs of the Lak Boyoq Servis LLC.
