Entrepreneurs of Uzbekistan and Turkey met in Samarkand

Samarkand hosted a meeting of local businessmen and entrepreneurs engaged in construction activities that are members of the Eastern Black Sea Exporters’ Association under the Ministry of Industry and Commerce of Turkey.
At the event, information was provided on large industrial enterprises, construction organizations and companies engaged in tourism activities in Samarkand region and on more than 15 enterprises of the Eastern Black Sea Coast of Turkey.
To date, 55 joint ventures with Turkish entrepreneurs have been organized in Samarkand region. The trade turnover for the first half of this year exceeded 74 million USD. This figure is much higher compared with the same period last year.
At the meeting, an agreement was reached on continuing cooperation on a wider scale and full use of unrealized opportunities.
