Last week, during a business trip to China by a delegation from Andijan region led by Shukhratbek Abdurakhmanov, agreements were signed between Andijan region and 10 Chinese companies on the implementation of projects in the production of leather shoes, batteries for electric vehicles, elevators, metal structures and building materials, cultivation and processing of pepper, as well as the construction of hydroelectric power stations.

As part of the cooperation, a group of Chinese investors arrived in Andijan to become familiar with the region. The Chongqing Youzhijun Education & Consulting Service representatives, led by Vivi Yang, visited higher education institutions. The guests were informed about the reforms implemented in Uzbekistan’s higher education system and the benefits provided to foreign investors.

The delegation from China plans to introduce students to new directions in teaching Chinese and other foreign languages.
