An exhibition entitled “Entrepreneur - builder” has been arranged in Sirdaryo Region’s Hovos District.

As part of the implementation of the Presidential decree dated 5 October 2016 “On additional measures to ensure the rapid development of entrepreneurial activity, to comprehensively protect private ownership and to qualitatively improve the business climate”, the exhibition was held at initiative of the regional hokimiyat (governorate).

Small business and private entrepreneurship entities, managers of farms, representatives of commercial banks and graduates of vocational colleges attended the exhibition.

More than 30 enterprises and trading houses participated in the exhibition with more than 150 types of tools and equipment. They supply new technologies to small businesses and production enterprises in the city of Tashkent and Sirdaryo Region.

“This exhibition is important as it is directed towards small business and private entrepreneurship development, increasing products for export and developing family businesses. Participants were greatly interested in products offered by such enterprises as Gulshana Textile Invest, Bahromjon Nur Savdo and Sirdaryo Momiq Quyonlari, trading houses and farms,” says the first deputy hokim (deputy governor) of Sirdaryo Region, M.Eshmatov.

During the event, many agreements on the purchase of tools and equipment were signed.

“Some years ago, we established a workshop for the production of bread and sweets. Modern technologies for the production of bread and sweets and for the packing of pistachio, which were offered at the exhibition, were very mush to our liking. We signed an agreement to purchase them. This will make it possible to further raise the quality of our products and their production volumes and to create nearly 10 new jobs,” says entrepreneur Sh.Sherqoziyev of Hovos Disrict.
