The Tashkent city council of the movement of entrepreneurs and businessmen – the Liberal Democratic Party of Uzbekistan has held a business forum of enterprising business women under the slogan “My life, my destiny – my sacred homeland, my beautiful and unique Uzbekistan” on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the country’s independence.

Here the law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On family entrepreneurship” and the presidential decree dated 15 May 2015 “On measures to secure the reliable protection of private property, small business and private entrepreneurship and to remove barriers to their accelerated development” are important programme documents.

This forum is important in popularizing the experience of businesswomen who have made big achievements in the area of small business and private entrepreneurship, in supporting women’s entrepreneurship and in properly encouraging their contribution to the development of the country’s economy and prosperity.

Participants in the event exchanged views on the organizational and legal basis for small business and private entrepreneurship, particularly family entrepreneurship, on ways of using privileges and preferences being created, on the bank credit policy and on the drawing up of collateral documents.

As part of the forum, the city stage of the Businesswoman -2016 contest took place. Enterprising women selected at the district stage of the contest displayed their knowledge and ability on such requirements as the creation of new jobs through setting up industrial production, the provision of services for the population, the production of export-oriented goods and active participation in the party’s events.

Craftswoman Mohira Sultovova working on her own in Olmazor District won and is through to the republican stage of the contest.

“I am successfully participating with my products in exhibitions in Malaysia, Indonesia, Russia and other countries,” says M.Sultonova.
