A delegation of the Nanjing Polytechnic Institute of China visited the Andijan Machine-Building Institute.

In June last year, the two higher education institutions signed a Memorandum of Cooperation. As part of the agreements, a Chinese Language Learning Center and a Yong Li Technical Center were established at Andijan Machine-Building Institute last year, and a Luban workshop was opened. In addition, online meetings of teachers of these institutes were held. Several proposals and initiatives were put forward to enhance collaboration.

The delegation, which arrived in Andijan on the first anniversary of establishing cooperation between the institutes, was received by the Rector of Andijan Machine-Building Institute, Umidjon Turdialiyev. During the conversation, issues such as the further improvement of the activities of the Chinese Language Center, the widespread involvement of Chinese specialists, the creation of conditions for students to practice at Uzbekistan – China joint venture for the production of cement operating in Bulakbashi district, strengthening cooperation between professors-teachers and students, the creation of a joint production enterprise were discussed.

Talks were also held on opening new areas of study at the Institute within the framework of joint educational programs for the bachelor’s degree (2+2), master’s degree (1+1), transformation of several specialties of the Andijan Machine-Building and Nanjing Polytechnic Institutes.

Following the meeting, a bilateral agreement was reached. After the conversation, the guests got acquainted with the Institute’s activities and the work carried out within the framework of cooperation over the past year.
